Agricultural Water Management & Irrigation Efficiency
Precision and variable-rate irrigation, proximal and remote sensing, and deficit-irrigation strategies to improve irrigation efficiency and crop water productivity in semi-arid agricultural systems.

Soil Hydrology & Groundwater Sustainability
Vadose-zone processes, nitrate leaching, groundwater recharge, and integrated surface–subsurface modeling to protect groundwater quality and support sustainable agricultural water management.

Evapotranspiration Measurement & Modeling
Eddy covariance, lysimetry, and remote sensing to measure and model crop ET and develop crop coefficients.

Climate Smart Agriculture
Sensor networks, decision-support tools, and adaptation strategies that help producers sustain yields under changing climate conditions.
